FREE TREATMENT FOR THE POOR- "ADOPT A PATIENT"

Our favourite baddie is nowadays creating a buzz on the small screen as the new MTV Roadies Host, Sonu Sood is constantly giving us life goals. He is famous for giving grief to the MTV Roadies contestants and might be giving the younger generation a run for their money, but his off -screen avatar, that of a humanitarian celebrity is a true inspiration for one and all. His vision of creating a better India took shape in turbulent times when the COVID pandemic was at its peak.

His kind spirit, unflinching focus and panoramic vision gave birth to Sood Charity Foundation. SCF has taken many socio-economic causes head on and have been doing efforts tirelessly to build a stronger nation. They never shy away from helping the needy and empowering the lower economic strata of the society.

Their latest endeavour, ‘ADOPT A PATIENT’ campaign by Sonu Sood is providing free medical treatment, financial help for medical treatment and medical help for the poor people. Free healthcare for the poor has always been a challenging and a daunting task, but with the help of good samaritans like yourself, help has been pouring in from across the globe. People have donated with all their heart and made it possible for Sood Charity Foundation to build an NGO for medical financial help which is strongly devoted to their aim.

SCF is providing free medical treatment to the poor, in innumerable ways. They are providing financial and medical aid for conditions like paediatric heart surgeries, restoring hearing ability by providing free cochlear implants, adding years to life and adding quality to those years for patients suffering from chronic kidney ailments by providing free dialysis treatment.

Cancer treatment is a costly affair and almost out of bounds for the poor. SCF’s campaign ADOPT A NEEDY is gaining momentum and is providing free cancer treatment including cancer surgeries, bone marrow transplants and chemotherapy sessions. We urge you to join our efforts and donate to Sood Charity Foundation and build a stronger and healthier India. Sood Charity Foundation also aims to fund as many kidney & liver transplants as possible.

People below the poverty line in India are struggling for basic things like food and shelter. Health ailments add more to their already dilapidated state of living. They are often seen struggling in the harsh climate day in and day out. We all wonder,’ what can I do to help them?’ This question also gave Sonu Sood sleepless nights and he took it upon himself to create an answer for that question.

Over time, many people joined his cause and the dream of giving free medical treatment became a reality. But as the famous quote by author, Robert Frost says, “ The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.” We still have many requests pending under various medical categories.
