YOUTH AND EDUCATION
Education empower is our best bet for ensuring development and progression of the society as a whole. Education is the first step towards eradication of poverty, hunger and crime. Youth’s education will bring about continuous, inclusive and non- discriminatory economic growth and is the key to sustainable development.
India as a nation has vested interests in making education more accessible to all sections of society, improving its quality and making it more and more affordable.
Keeping in mind, all the noteworthy improvements in increasing primary school enrolment, a similar trajectory has not been observed in secondary education and higher studies.
Sood Charity Foundation, founded by famous actor Sonu Sood have pledged to remedy the above mentioned problem by launching various campaigns to educate and empower the youth. SCF truly advocates the importance of education to youth and provides students with free coaching classes for SSC exams and higher education too.
EDUCATION CAMPAIGNS BY SCF
Under our umbrella, we have the Professor Saroj Sood Scholarship, honouring the mother of actor Sonu Sood. This is a scholarship for EWS students and provides free coaching for IAS aspirants.Your donations will make it possible to find the answer to the pertinent question, how can we empower the youth?
SAMBHAVAM, our another initiative in collaboration with Divine India Youth Association, DIYA provides free IAS scholarship to aspiring Indian students. Along with this, students will also be mentored for a holistic personality development which will make them capable of availing more opportunities and fulfil our dream of youth empowerment and youth leadership. The co- relation between youth and education is the under- current of this campaign and will play a major role in nation-building.
SANKALP provides free coaching for law entrance examinations and fulfils the far- fetched dream of attaining a law degree for many students, especially students from poor families. SAKSHAM, a joint effort of Sood Charity Foundation, WIRC of ICAI and Media Chutney provide free coaching for CA aspirants.
The program also offers employment opportunities in the form of internships under practicing CAs to fully prepare them for the road ahead.
IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS
Knowledge attained through higher education will ensure full and effective participation of youth in the process of social, economic and political development. It will elevate their capacities, hone their skill set and ingrain ethical values needed to take on a role in nation development, just governance, social inclusion, promoting tolerance and maintaining peace. Investing in quality education empower is the surest way for preparing the youth for the future, understanding their aspirations and challenges, realising their potential, and directing the current and future social and economic conditions of the nation.
