Jayashree Jayaraman

Jayashree Jayaraman is a competent professional and has spent in almost three decades in the social sector industry. She started her career as a lecturer at the University of Delhi and has extensive research experience.

Her experiences include research & development in various social focus areas including education, empowerment of women & health. She is adept in the implementation of programs for the community and has strong exposure in managing programs at the implementation level as well as policy level sound understanding of principles of funding programs of social nature. She continues to handle project management for various NGOs including Budget, Partnerships, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Additionally, she has handled administration and HR activities including training the teams. Possess excellent communication skills that have been honed through coordination with Developmental Stakeholders from Policy Makers, Civil Societies, and Corporate leaders.

Her educational background includes an M Phil degree in Political science and has been a consultant for many NGOs, including Save the Children Fund and the Ministry of Women & Children. She has participated in Beijing Plus 5 at United Nations. Her last assignment was with Rotary International South Asia Office for 18 years wherein she handled program implementation, Donor contributions – Fundraising and CSR. She has participated in international conferences as well trained many Rotarians for various assignments.

She has volunteered at an orphanage in Delhi for more than three decades and promotes children’s education. Also, serves as a board member and advisor with NGOs in India. In addition, provides support with capacity building, fundraising proposals, and strategic guidance.
