CURRENT INITIATIVES

A CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS AND CHEER

Diwali 2024 in Dewas was a vibrant and joyous occasion. The Sonu Sood Charity Dewas Club members came together to make the festival special for children in need. They distributed lamps, boxes of sweets, piles of books, and clothes, spreading happiness and warmth throughout the community. It was a heartwarming event that showcased the spirit of giving and togetherness.

EMPOWERING SMALL BUSINESSES

Through the Support Small Business initiative, the Sood Charity Foundation continues to uplift and showcase small businesses across communities. The journey also takes us to a tea and sugarcane juice shop, where heartfelt interactions with locals bring their stories to life. A particularly inspiring moment unfolds with Ranjeet, an elderly brick-maker whose resilience embodies the spirit of perseverance and hope. These narratives reinforce the significance of supporting small businesses.

KAMBAL SUKOON KA

In December and January, Sonu Sood Charity Club members united across Dewas, Mumbai, Solapur, Bhopal, Vadodara, Raipur, Delhi, Telangana, and Bhilai. Braving the chilly winter nights, they gathered 600+ blankets across these cities to distribute to those sleeping on the streets. The initiative, "Kambal Sukoon Ka," meaning "a blanket of peaceful sleep," brought warmth and comfort to many in need. This heartfelt effort showcased the power of community and compassion, ensuring that no one had to face the cold alone. It was distributed to people who slept on the

CHRISTMAS JOY IN BHILAI

This Christmas, Sonu Sood Charity Club members in Bhilai united to spread joy and warmth. They distributed hygienically packed, delicious home- cooked meals to the needy, bringing smiles to many families. Additionally, books were given to students and families, supporting education and brightening futures. The heartfelt effort ensured that everyone felt the festive spirit, showcasing the true essence of Christmas—compassion, generosity, and community.

SOLAR PANELS AT MG HOSPITAL, DEWAS

The Sood Charity Foundation, in collaboration with Round Table and Tata Group, proudly facilitated the installation of solar panels at MG Hospital, Dewas. This remarkable initiative was inaugurated by Sonu Sood alongside Collector Rishab Gupta, marking a significant step toward sustainability. With a production capacity of 400 units per day, the project is set to save over ₹1 lakh in electricity bills annually. Through this endeavor, the Sood Charity Foundation reinforces its commitment to building a greener and more sustainable India. Together, we take one step closer to a brighter future for generations to come.
